2019 is coming to a close and the LA Clippers had a wild, wild year. Here is a look at some of those best moments of the year.

This calendar year was quite interesting for the LA Clippers. Just 11 months ago, this team was merely an up and coming team with young talent filled with potential and hopefully competing for a playoff spot. Now, they are hoping to achieve what every player desires.

More from Hoops Habit

It is not often Clippers’ fans experience the amount of happiness so suddenly. This franchise was always seen as the little brother to the big-time Los Angeles Lakers just right next door and it has been like that for as long as they can remember.

They were lucky this decade they ended up with such success they had only because David Stern decided to veto a trade, which led to the beginning of Lob City. Yet, even then, the success they got still wasn’t enough.

After losing each player from the Lob City era one by one, starting with trading their franchise player Chris Paul, only to give a max deal to Blake Griffin just to ship him to Detroit, then losing DeAndre Jordan in free agency and eventually shipping their leading scorer, Tobias Harris, to Philadelphia.

That was a rough couple of years especially in 2018, but the following year was nowhere near the same. From buzzer-beaters and breaking records to surprising playoff success, 2019 was a great year for every Clippers fan and it is the perfect time to reflect on that.

So, let’s dive right into the most memorable moments of 2019.
