Last week: Lost to Dallas 120-116, beat Lakers 111-104, won at New York 123-102

This week: Sunday vs. Indiana, Wednesday at Philadelphia, Friday at Atlanta, Saturday vs. Orlando

The Milwaukee Bucks had their winning streak stopped at 18 games by the Mavericks on Monday, but won a nationally televised showdown with the Lakers — the top team in the Western Conference — before getting another blowout win over the Knicks, this time at New York. Even with the loss, the Bucks are 24-2 since the beginning of November.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had a week made to leave opposing defenders cringing in terror, averaging 34.7 points, 12.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.3 steals in 30.9 minutes per game. He shot 61.7 percent overall and was 8-for-18 from 3-point range, including 7-for-12 against the Lakers and Knicks. Giannis with a 3-ball in the bag? Yeah, good luck stopping all of that.

Just for good measure, Antetokounmpo finished the week with a lightning-fast triple-double, getting 22 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in only 26 minutes while blowing out New York. That’s not even close to the fastest in NBA history; that mark was set on Feb. 15, 2018, when Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets got to double digits in three categories in just 14:33.

Coincidentally, it came against the Bucks and broke the old record of 17 minutes set on Feb. 20, 1955, by Jim Tucker of the Syracuse Nationals against … the New York Knicks.
