With the 2019-20 trade season officially kicking off, the New York Knicks might look to shake up things in The Big Apple with some trades.

Last season, the New York Knicks ultimately decided to trade away a big portion of their roster in a blockbuster deal, generally involving around Latvian star Kristaps Porzingis.

This was a move that was mainly executed to ensure maximum cap space for the upcoming free agency. By pulling the trigger on that, the Knicks basically announced themselves as big players in the 2019 free agency market.

You probably know how this went down, as the Knicks failed to land a single big-name free agent. Instead, they chose to sign a large number of veterans on short-term/team-option deals to make sure that they did not return completely empty-handed from the free agency pool.

New York’s secondary approach was not actually a bad one. Even though they should’ve signed at least one superstar free agent, their backup plan has turned them into very attractive sellers in the trade market.

Some of these signings have turned out to be even better than expected. Others, though, haven’t panned out so well.

After the obvious example of a player that has proved to be incredible, it is almost certain that a selection of suitors will be contacting the New York Knicks regarding Marcus Morris‘ availability and price.

Keeping in mind his stellar level of play, as well as some other players that have been similarly impressive, here are five potential trades the New York Knicks could make really soon.
