The Milwaukee Bucks have been one of the NBA’s best teams over the course of the 2019 calendar year. Which players have played the biggest role in that success?

As 2019 is nearing its end, let’s all remember what a ride it’s been for the Milwaukee Bucks. By the conclusion of the 2018-19 campaign, coach Mike Budenholzer’s squad had accomplished quite a bit. Finishing with the best record in the league, reaching the Eastern Conference Finals and watching Giannis Antetokounmpo hoist his first MVP trophy — just to name a few.

Although the franchise hasn’t yet reached its ultimate goal (bringing another championship to the city of Milwaukee), the 2019 calendar year featured plenty for fans to be proud of.

Not only did the Bucks dominate last season, but things appear to be business as usual this season. Through 28 games, the team holds a 24-4 record and is lethal on both ends of the court.

This comes after the departure of guard Malcolm Brogdon via a sign-and-trade last offseason. While he has flourished with the Indiana Pacers, Milwaukee hasn’t missed him much. The guard-by-committee system has worked fine to this point.
