Last week: Lost to Atlanta 122-107, beat Washington 114-107, won at Brooklyn 113-108, won at Chicago 83-73

This week: Sunday at Indiana, Tuesday vs. Sacramento, Wednesday at Cleveland, Saturday vs. Utah

After a disappointing beatdown at the hands of the Hawks to open the week, the Charlotte Hornets finished up with three straight victories, including coming back from 20 points down at Brooklyn and out-uglying the Bulls for a win in Chicago.

Devonte’ Graham continued his breakout season, scoring 40 points — 27 in the second half — in the win Wednesday at Brooklyn. For the week, Graham averaged 24.3 points, 6.5 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.8 steals in 35.9 minutes per game, shooting 40.8 percent overall and hitting 42.5 percent on 10.0 3-point attempts per game.

Last week: Won at Dallas 110-106, won at Houston 119-118, beat Oklahoma City 94-93, lost to New York 103-101

This week: Sunday at Golden State, Tuesday at Charlotte, Friday at Indiana, Saturday at Memphis

Consistency, thy name is most assuredly not the Sacramento Kings, a team that managed to — in the same week — sweep a two-game Texas trip to Dallas and Houston and lose at home to the moribund Knicks. Contender or bottom-feeder, the Kings seem to be able to keep games close against anyone, with their four-point win at Dallas their most lopsided decision of the week.

Buddy Hield sizzled for most of the week, averaging 27.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 35.3 minutes per game, shooting 53.1 percent overall and canning 47.8 percent of his 11.5 deep balls per game. Hield also had his first double-double of the season in the loss to the Knicks, going for 34 points and 12 rebounds.
