1. Denver Nuggets

Following a heartbreaking seven-game series versus the Portland Trail Blazers, the Denver Nuggets were looking to take another step towards winning a championship this season.

Thus far, things haven’t been ideal. The Nuggets had hopes of being the best team in the West but sit at fifth in the conference. They are in need of a backup point guard and could use a more reliable scorer at the forward position.

Here, the Nuggets gain a consistent scorer and backup guard in Collin Sexton. The sixth man role seems to be perfect for Sexton as his primary goal is to score. Young Bull is averaging 17.8 points in his second NBA season.

As for Kevin Love, he is putting up a solid 16.4 points and 10.8 rebounds per game and is fresh off a season-high 30 points and 17 rebounds in a victory over the San Antonio Spurs. His presence on the Nuggets could be game-changing.

In this deal, the Cleveland Cavaliers acquire a promising (but risky) prospect in Michael Porter Jr. Still dealing with back problems, Porter has the potential to become a versatile scoring forward if he can remain healthy.

The addition of Paul Millsap and a 2021 first-round draft pick should bring this entire deal together for the Cavaliers. Overall, it’s a win-win for both teams.
