1. Marcus Morris ruins Porzingis’ return

On Nov. 14, the Dallas Mavericks traveled to Manhattan in order to face the New York Knicks in MSG just days after facing them in Dallas in a close matchup that ended with New York getting a road win.

In Kristaps Porzingis’ first game back in New York, the expectations were high. Kristaps finished the game with 20 points and 11 rebounds, but was not all that efficient with his shooting that night.

Porzingis was booed throughout the lineup announcements as well as the course of the game whenever he touched the ball as the atmosphere at MSG was set up perfectly for yet another terrific battle between these two teams.

Marcus Morris, undoubtedly the best free-agent signing of the Knicks season so far, took it upon himself to put an end to this tightly contested game and hit a step-back 3-point shot with approximately 13 seconds left on the clock.
