3. Dennis Smith Jr. rises above J.Cole

The 2018-19 New York Knicks were not fortunate enough to have an All-Star on their roster. Luckily for them, they were represented during the All-Star break by newly acquired point guard Dennis Smith Jr., who participated in the Slam Dunk Contest.

With his second dunk of the night, Smith decided to get creative. He brought in rapper J. Cole from the stands. Smith also repped with Cole’s high school jersey from his Sanford Bulldog days in Fayetteville, N.C., a gesture Cole really seemed to appreciate.

Jermaine is actually a really good basketball player himself, though that is not something he particularly showcased after Smith dunked over him.
