Can Williams handle the pressure?

Lou Williams is one of the greatest sixth men in the league’s history. There is a reason why he earned three Sixth Man of the Year awards in his long 15-year career and his game had taken a real step these past two seasons.

Since joining the LA Clippers for the 2017-18 season, he became their closer. The guy they can consistently rely on night-in and night-out to simply get buckets. In two full seasons with the Clippers, Williams averaged 21.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game on .431/.360/.878 splits.

He was the key reason why the Clippers had such success last season, especially in the postseason. In the playoffs, he was their leading scorer with 21.7 points per game and had three games with 25 or more points.

He has been that guy throughout his career and there is no evidence that will stop anytime soon. Here are a few plays that show what Williams is capable of.

Or maybe this game-winner.

Sweet Lou really is something else.

What about the two superstars on the team? They are the ones that are meant to lead this team to a championship.
