NBA superstars are the ones who capture the hearts of fans everywhere, but these 10 players haven’t gotten the props their talent certainly warrants.
As the latest decade comes to a close, it’s easy to come up with the staples of what was truly a remarkable stretch of NBA basketball.

LeBron James empowered his contemporaries and established a stake — however legitimate — in the GOAT discussion. Stephen Curry altered the fundamental strategies and principles of the game with his long-range arsenal.
Of course, the players found on this list don’t come close to mirroring the impact of some of the greats including Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard. What they have in common, though, is a resume over these last 10 years that makes the case for more recognition than what they are currently receiving.
Some have a level of statistical production that could’ve been celebrated under different circumstances. The history books could look remarkably different if not for the contributions of others.
The underrated label is tricky. If it builds up enough steam, it could tip the scales in the opposite direction and have a player dubbed overrated soon after.
Barring the unforeseen, that won’t happen here. Instead, we’ll take a look back before we move forward to shed some appreciation upon several players who have done more than enough to earn it.
