Minnesota Timberwolves have to ride out rough stretch

The rough stretch
Before the Minnesota Timberwolves can return to winning ways, they’re most likely looking at a little more losing.
Granted, a win in Phoenix is to be expected –though Devin Booker could prove an issue against a struggling Wolves backcourt — but outside of that it looks like Minnesota will sink to 11-14 before the week is over.
While that may seem bad at first glance, it will probably still be a good enough record to keep the Timberwolves in eighth place in the West, as Phoenix (currently in eighth) faces a tougher schedule than the Wolves and look to fall out of the top eight, while the Sacramento Kings (current 10th in the West) will probably split their next five games.
This road trip has been tough for Minnesota and things don’t look to get any easier upon their initial return to Minneapolis. However, if the team and fans refuse to lose hope, things could pick up.
