Minnesota Timberwolves have to ride out rough stretch
By Ethan Becker
The Minnesota Timberwolves are about to face their toughest stretch of the season yet, but if the fans can just hold on for a few games, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.
The Minnesota Timberwolves probably aren’t going to do much winning over the next couple of games.

The team is already in the middle of a four-game losing streak, are coming to the end of a long and brutal road trip and things don’t look too good for them when they return home.
For starters, the Timberwolves will face the Utah Jazz on their first game at home after a long four-game road trip, which saw the Timberwolves drop the first three games, with the fourth happening Monday night against the Phoenix Suns.
Minnesota has yet to pick up a win in the month of December, losing on the to the Memphis Grizzlies on Dec. 1, to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday and, most recently, to the Los Angeles Lakers, on Sunday. None of these losses have been particularly close, with an average difference of 12.2.
The skid knocked Minnesota below .500 for the first time this season. The losses also dropped the Wolves to ninth place in the Western Conference, the first time Minnesota has been outside the top eight this season, and many fans are starting to lose hope for a playoff berth.
However, if the fans can survive a rough stretch up ahead, there are good times coming. The Timberwolves schedule looks to become much easier, and they shouldn’t stay below .500 for long.
