Last week: Won at Sacramento 113-106 Monday, beat Memphis 106-99 Wednesday, lost to Golden State 100-98 Friday
This week: Sunday at Miami, Monday vs. Toronto, Wednesday vs. Atlanta, Friday vs. Charlotte
The Chicago Bulls blew a nine-point lead to the Warriors on Friday, costing them a chance for their first three-game winning streak of the season. Still, the Bulls won consecutive games for the first time this campaign with their wins at Sacramento and over the Grizzlies. Chicago plays fast, maybe too fast, as the Bulls are 12th in the NBA in pace and 29th in offensive rating. Ouch.
Zach LaVine put some numbers up, scoring 28 points in the win at Sacramento. In three games on the week, LaVine averaged 25.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 34.3 minutes per game, shooting 47.8 percent overall and hitting 50.0 percent on 7.3 3-point attempts a game. This week, Chicago has a brutal road-home back-to-back at Miami and against the Raptors.

Last week: Lost at Detroit 132-98 Sunday, beat Houston 135-133 (2OT) Tuesday, beat Sacramento 105-104 (OT) Friday
This week: Thursday vs. Cleveland, Saturday at Phoenix (game to be played at Mexico City)
It’s not often a team can go 2-1 over a three-game stretch and be outscored by 31 points in the process, but the San Antonio Spurs pulled that off last week. After starting the week by getting eviscerated at Detroit, the Spurs returned home to beat the Rockets in double overtime and the Kings in just one extra session.
In the win over Houston, young Lonnie Walker IV came out of nowhere, scoring a career-high 28 points with three steals in 35 minutes (also a career-high), raising his scoring average on the season to 4.1 points per game. For the week, DeMar DeRozan put up 19.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists in 35.3 minutes per game, shooting 39.2 percent overall and 4-for-9 from deep.
