Last week: Lost to Phoenix 109-104 Monday, beat Golden State 106-91 Wednesday, lost to Brooklyn 111-104 Friday

This week: Sunday vs. Atlanta, Tuesday vs. Washington, Wednesday at Brooklyn, Friday at Chicago

After opening a five-game homestand with just one win in three tries last week, the Charlotte Hornets will get two more chances before heading on the road. The Hornets are doing a couple of things very well, forcing opponents into a 15.6 percent turnover rate (eighth-best in the NBA), per Cleaning the Glass, and conceding the second-fewest free throws per game in the league at 16.1.

Second-year guard Devonte’ Graham continues to produce, scoring 33 points with nine assists and seven rebounds in Charlotte’s win over the Warriors on Wednesday. For the week, Graham averaged 25.7 points, 10.0 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 36.0 minutes per game on some crazy shooting splits of 38.3 percent overall and 45.9 percent on 12.3 3-point attempts a night.

Last week: Lost at Clippers 150-125 Sunday, lost to Orlando 127-120 Tuesday, beat Philadelphia 119-113 Thursday, lost at Miami 112-103 Friday

This week: Sunday vs. Clippers, Tuesday at Charlotte, Saturday at Memphis

It was a tough week for the banged-up Washington Wizards, who surrendered their second 150-point game of the season on Sunday, played without a healthy center in a loss to the Magic on Tuesday and then continued to plague the 76ers at Capital One Arena. Washington’s 119-113 win on Thursday was its 10th in a row at home over Philly, which last won in D.C. on Nov. 1, 2013.

Bradley Beal has continued to carry the Wizards offensively, blowing up for 42 points against Orlando Tuesday night. In four games, Beal averaged 28.5 points, 6.8 assists and 6.3 rebounds in 38.5 minutes per game, shooting 41.1 percent overall and 33.3 percent on 6.0 3-point tries a game. Davis Bertans and Rui Hachimura also averaged more than 20 points a game last week.
