Anthony Davis helped fuel the rout at Portland Friday night with 39 points, nine rebounds and three blocks. In four games on the week, Davis averaged 29.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in 32.8 minutes per game, shooting 56.3 percent overall while going 4-for-11 from 3-point range. Los Angeles has won 13 of their last 14 games.

The Dallas Mavericks are scorching hot right now, winning their fifth straight game in a 130-84 dismantling of the Pelicans. The Mavs have won 10 of 11 overall. The win was the Mavericks’ second by 40-plus points this season; Dallas beat the Warriors 142-94 back on Nov. 20.

On the week, Doncic averaged 27.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 7.5 assists in 29.8 minutes per game, shooting 44.9 percent overall and 31.6 percent on 9.5 3-point attempts a game.
