Last week: Beat Golden State 100-96 Sunday, won at Washington 127-120 Tuesday, beat Phoenix 128-114 Wednesday, won at Cleveland 93-87 Friday

This week: Monday at Milwaukee, Wednesday vs. Lakers, Friday vs. Houston

The Orlando Magic have won four straight games and five of their last six and by winning at Cleveland Friday night, Orlando got back to the .500 mark for the first time since they were 2-2 after beating the Knicks on Oct. 30. The unexpected offensive fireworks at Washington and against the Suns pushed the Magic up to 25th in the NBA in offensive rating at 104.5.

In the victory over Phoenix on Wednesday, Aaron Gordon had one of those tantalizing games he’s prone to, scoring 32 points with five rebounds and five assists, hitting 13-of-15 overall and going 5-for-5 from deep. On the week, Evan Fournier averaged 25.5 points in 31.6 minutes per game, shooting 56.5 percent overall and hitting 56.7 percent on 7.5 3-point tries a night.

Last week: Lost at Toronto 130-110 Sunday, lost at Philadelphia 103-94 Monday, lost to Lakers 121-96 Wednesday, beat Memphis 126-112 Saturday

This week: Monday vs. Oklahoma City, Wednesday at Minnesota, Friday vs. Golden State

The Utah Jazz were able to stop the bleeding with their convincing win over the Grizzlies on Saturday, a game in which they led by as much as 25 points. After playing against huge deficits the previous three games, having a lead was a pleasant change. Utah has won just twice in its last seven games.

Rudy Gobert had a pretty strong week for the Jazz, putting up 27 points with 12 rebounds and three blocks at Philadelphia Monday. For the week, Gobert averaged 17.8 points, 11.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 30.6 minutes per game, shooting 74.4 percent from the floor.
