Sure, his efficiency from deep has tanked over the last few weeks, but the scoring load and responsibility Eric Paschall has carried for the Golden State Warriors is still remarkable given where he was drafted.

He wasn’t even relied upon this much at Villanova, where he was one of the star players for a top program in the country. What Paschall has come in and done for this squad night in and night out is impressive.

What’s been the most surprising part of his game offensively is his stop-and-pop game off mid-range looks. Paschall wasn’t much of a pull-up isolation scorer in college, or at least he wasn’t utilized much in that sense.

Consistently he looks to attack and be aggressive for Golden State and for the most part it’s paid off. Paschall doesn’t look out of place creating offense for himself and to be honest, it’s a part of his game I didn’t think he had at this point in his career.

The shot selection isn’t always the best, which can get him in trouble efficiency-wise, but what else does he really have to work with around him other than when Ky Bowman or Alec Burks get hot?

Paschall is the guy on a depleted Warriors squad and his spot in these rankings shouldn’t change drastically over the coming months unless he really takes a step back in role.
