The LA Clippers had run off seven straight wins before running into the Spurs Friday in San Antonio. LA will return home to Staples Center for its next two games before leaving on a six-game road trip that begins this Friday at Milwaukee.
On the injury front, Landry Shamet is expected to be out at least three more weeks due to a high ankle sprain, while Rodney McGruder was out Friday with a sore hamstring.
The matchup in Milwaukee will be a tough one, as the Clippers have already lost at home to the Bucks back on Nov. 6.
Backup big man Montrezl Harrell had an up-and-down week — much like the team did. He averaged 16.0 points and 8.0 rebounds in 27.5 minutes per game over the last three games, shooting 51.2 percent overall and going 0-for-1 from the 3-point area.

The Miami Heat continued to play well last week, putting two 17-point victories around their tough loss at Houston on Wednesday night.
The Heat did get Justise Winslow back on Wednesday after he had missed nine straight games being treated for a concussion. Dion Waiters should be back from his suspension on Sunday, while Derrick Jones Jr. and KZ Okpala continue to be out, with Jones not playing since Nov. 7 with a hip injury. Rookie KZ Okpala has been out for Miami’s last 15 games.
The Heat will face three tough road games beginning Sunday, playing Brooklyn, Toronto and Boston in a four-day span.
Reserve Kelly Olynyk had a very good week last week, averaging 16.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 27.1 minutes per game, shooting 66.7 percent overall and a scorching 7-for-10 from 3-point range.
