During the first month of the NBA season, several teams have lived up to expectations. Here’s a look at a few surprise teams.

One of the predictions in the NBA over the last five seasons was that the Golden State Warriors would represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals. And that is exactly what happened, as the Dubs won three championships during that stretch, including back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018.

With the Warriors losing key players, along with Kawhi Leonard joining the LA Clippers, the road to the NBA championship this year is going to be as wide open as it’s ever been in recent memory.

Sure, some teams are performing as expected. Behind the duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Los Angeles Lakers have bolted out to an NBA-best 14-2 record. The Milwaukee Bucks, who had the best record in the league last season, are the top team in the Eastern Conference once again.

However, there are a few teams that have raised a few eyebrows early on. With that being said, here’s a look at the biggest surprises from the first month of the 2019-20 NBA season.
