3. Avery Bradley to be re-evaluated after Thanksgiving

Back on Nov. 14, Avery Bradley suffered a hairline fracture in his right leg. At the time, he was given a one- to two-week timeline to return for the Lakers. However, it appears he may be away from the hardwood slightly longer than initially expected.

Realistically, the delay makes sense. The Lakers are set to venture off on a four-game road trip and don’t plan on bringing Bradley along. It only makes sense to re-evaluate once the team returns from the trip, which just so happens to be after Nov. 28 — aka Thanksgiving.

Luckily for the Lakers, the defense hasn’t fallen apart without arguably their top on-ball defensive guard. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has stepped into the starting role since Bradley’s injury and has done a good job of holding it down. Alex Caruso and Quinn Cook have also seen more minutes and the wins continue to pile up.

Getting Bradley back in the fold will obviously be a big plus for the Lakers. While they’ve remained undefeated despite his absence, his return to the lineup will be welcomed. By the time Black Friday rolls around, we should have more information on Bradley’s immediate future.
