After a pretty rough start to the season, some New York Knicks players don’t seem to meet the expectations that were set for them.
During these opening couple of weeks, the new-look New York Knicks have appeared to be shaky, to say the least.

They are 2-7, placing them as dead last in the Eastern Conference and second-worst in the NBA.
Dead last. Once again.
The truth is, the Knicks aren’t actually playing half bad. They have competed hard in each of those games, only to collapse at the end, leading to fourth-quarter failures.
So who exactly is to blame for the team’s poor series of results so far? Coach David Fizdale has certainly received a lot of criticism for the way he is handling his rotations, but in his defense, he is basically trying to manage a team of 15 role players.
Some discussion has specifically been raised regarding the large number of minutes that he has given to RJ Barrett so far.
Regardless of that, the bottom line is that the team is really underperforming. The New York Knicks filled the team with a great selection of veterans in order to avoid tanking due to the new lottery system that doesn’t guarantee a top pick in the draft.
