Ever since the event started back in 2011, the State Farm Champions Classic has been a hotbed for NBA Draft scouts and observers alike.

And how could it not be? Duke, Kansas, Michigan State and Kentucky all under one roof? In terms of a number of prospects on the radar, I counted at least 27 names between the four teams that at least deserved consideration heading into Tuesday night.
That’s an insane number, especially given that most college games generally have four to five guys at the most to have genuine draft takeaways from.
While there were definitely some lows from both games last night, particularly in the quality of play with sloppy turnovers and shooting performances, there were positive conclusions to be made on a number of players.
Bottom line is that everyone is in for a fun season of college basketball if last night is any indication.
