What are the major things that the Minnesota Timberwolves could take away from their most recent win against the Washington Wizards?
During the last game for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Karl-Anthony Towns and Joel Embiid got into an altercation which led to the two of them being suspended for two games. Yesterday, Nov. 2, was the first game for the Timberwolves without Towns during the 2019-2020 season, as they traveled to the nation’s capital to face the Washington Wizards.
The Timberwolves beat the Wizards 131-109 in what was a fairly one-sided matchup, as Minnesota grabbed an early lead in the first quarter and would never relinquish it. The only quarter Minnesota didn’t score more than their opponents in was the fourth quarter.
With an impressive win over an inter-conference foe without their star player, the Timberwolves should have a lot to be happy about.
With that, they should also have a lot to take away from this game. The Timberwolves keep winning and are riding a white-hot streak right now, and if they want to keep that up, there are a few things that they’re going to have to recognize.
