2. Kenneth Faried

At 29 years old, Kenneth Faried should still be able to make an impact in the NBA. Faried is a player who plays super hard every time he is on the floor. That’s what makes him an excellent rebounder on both ends of the floor and someone who isn’t afraid to get physical down low.

Faried is only 6’8,” but he plays likes he is 7’0″. He is a power forward, but has shown that he can play as a small-ball 5. Faried is good at rolling in the pick-and-roll and attacking the rim for putback opportunities. On defense, he will protect the rim and fight hard.

Faried’s energy would be a different punch off of the bench and could be something that could help get some guys going in games. He should be able to play alongside any of the Portland Trail Blazers bigs and could maybe even play with Jusuf Nurkic when he returns.

For his career, Faried has averaged 11.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. The Portland fans have been calling for Faried to be a Blazer for a few years now, and with some injuries to the roster early on in the season, 2019 could possibly be the time he arrives in Rip City.
