The Chicago Bulls have posted a 1-3 mark through their first four games. Here are a few early takeaways from the 2019-20 NBA season.

Despite winning just 22 games a year ago, the Chicago Bulls were hoping to take the next step towards becoming a playoff contender. But as was the case last season, things haven’t gotten off to a great start.

More from Hoops Habit

In the season opener, the Bulls fell to the Charlotte Hornets 126-125, thanks to 23 made 3-pointers by the home team. Chicago did manage to bounce back, posting a 110-102 over the Memphis Grizzlies, but their days in the win column would be short lived.

After winning just nine home games last season, the Bulls continued thier woeful ways at the United Center, falling to the Toronto Raptors 108-84. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the New York Knicks overcame an 18-point deficit to hand the Bulls a 105-98 loss, their third defeat in four outings.

Can the Bulls shake off yet another slow start or is this an unfortunate sign of things to come? Here are a few early takeaways from the 2019-20 NBA season.
