5. Milwaukee Bucks (Odds: +574)

The Milwaukee Bucks have the highest odds out of the Eastern Conference to win the NBA Finals, and the third highest overall. Be that as it may, they are still only the fifth-smartest team you could put your money on.

The main case for the Bucks is really just that they have Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freak is coming off an MVP year in which he averaged 27.7 points per game, 12.5 rebounds per game, and 5.9 assists per game.

Those are obviously insane numbers, but the more insane thing is that there is a chance that he can get even better.  Back in July, Giannis mentioned that he believes that he is only at 60 percent of his full potential, which if true is a scary thought for the rest of the NBA.

The Bucks have arguably the best player in the NBA and the supporting cast around him is pretty competent as well, most notably 2019 NBA All-Star Khris Middleton. Starting alongside their All-Star duo is polarizing guard Eric Bledsoe and sharp-shooting big man Brook Lopez (a.k.a. Splash Mountain).

This squad will no question be a dominant regular season team again, barring injury. However, come playoff time there are concerns. The roster is not as deep as it was last year, as they lost one of their more dependable guys, Malcolm Brogdon, this offseason. He signed with the Indiana Pacers.

Both Middleton and Bledsoe are known to disappear at times and/or play poorly in big moments, so that is very concerning when it comes to their title chances.

All of that being said, the Bucks still do in fact have Giannis Antetokounmpo. There is a world in which Giannis does make another leap this year and wills his team out of the Eastern Conference.

And although the role players have had their postseason struggles, they are still very serviceable NBA players and it isn’t crazy to picture them putting together a solid enough playoff run to complement the MVP and bring a title to Milwaukee.
