The Utah Jazz made major moves to improve their roster this off season and are poised to be a top team. Here are 5 predictions for the 2019-20 NBA season.

This offseason, the Utah Jazz made waves in Salt Lake City when they pulled the trigger on several major acquisitions. Early in the summer, the Jazz acquired veteran point guard Mike Conley via trade with the Memphis Grizzlies. The addition of Conley provides this Utah roster with some much-needed shooting prowess from the point guard position.

Moreover, he brings years of playoff experience and leadership from his tenure with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Utah also acquired Bojan Bogdanovic via free agency and signed promising bench players in Ed Davis, Jeff Green and Emmanuel Mudiay. Bogdanovic led the Indiana Pacers in scoring with his 18 points per game on 42.5 percent shooting from 3 and between himself and Joe Ingles, the Jazz will have elite spacing from the forward spots.

Additionally, Davis is a phenomenal rebounder, while both Green and Mudiay are capable of huge outings off the bench.

Despite losing in the first round to the Houston Rockets in just five games in the playoffs, Utah has retooled significantly and will be looking to make a championship push this season. The Jazz are shaping up to be suffocating on defense and appear, at least on paper, to be much improved on offense.

With this new-look roster, there’s plenty to be excited about for fans of the Jazz. Here are five predictions for the 2019-20 NBA season.
