5 predictions for the dramatically different Warriors

3. The Warriors’ bench finishes in the top 15 in scoring
A heap of the Golden State Warriors’ success and chances of making the playoffs this season is contingent on the impact of their bench. Last season, their bench finished 28th (30.3) in the NBA, which is an immediate sign for concern regarding their lack of depth.
Although their lack of depth was not an issue due to the presence of KD, the Warriors looked vulnerable at times when they suffered key injuries, which can make or break their playoff hopes this season.
Aside from pulling a genius sign-and-trade for D’Angelo Russell because of KD’s departure, the new talent that has come in can’t be ignored.
The Warriors’ draftees, Jordan Poole, Alen Smailagić and Eric Paschall, are more than capable to make an impact in each game as part of the second unit. All three rookies possess the ability to shoot beyond the arc, create their own shots and use their versatile size to guard and play at least two positions each.
Furthermore, the additions of Omari Spellman, Alec Burks and Glenn Robinson III should provide necessary spacing, rebounding, and scoring the Warriors will need when their starters rest.
