While teams around the West went through major changes, the Denver Nuggets opted for continuity. How far will that take them?

After missing the playoffs on the last night of the 2017-18 season, the Denver Nuggets did not disappoint last year. On the back of Nikola Jokic’s monstrous season in which he earned All-NBA First Team honors, the Nuggets won 56 games and eked out the No. 2 seed in a loaded Western Conference.

Many NBA Trade Machine fanatics have tried to consolidate these assets in fake blockbuster deals, but General Manager Tim Connelly has stayed the course. Jokic is a true superstar, and Jamal Murray may be on his way to stardom as well.

Last season, the Nuggets were ahead of schedule. With real expectations this year, it comes down to a few simple ingredients for them to stay on course.
