Cleveland Cavaliers: 5 predictions for the 2019-20 NBA season

4. Improved offense
Last season, the Cleveland Cavaliers were one of the worst offensive teams in the league. A slew of injuries plagued the team as inexperienced rookies were tasked with carrying the load offensively.
Within just a few weeks, the reigns were passed over to Collin Sexton and Cedi Osman. Both struggled as they attempted to learn the game on the fly. The teams leading scorer for much of the year was Jordan Clarkson, who averaged a career-high 16.8 points per game off of the bench.
This season, the Cavs will be revamped offensively. In addition to Sexton, Osman and Clarkson, the team will have three new rookies that are all capable scorers. Darius Garland appears to be a gifted shooter with incredible ball handling abilities.
As for Kevin Porter Jr. and Dylan Windler, they both have the potential to be productive scorers. Windler connected on 42.9 percent of his 3-point attempts last season while Porter is an explosive athlete.
Most importantly, Cleveland will begin the season with a healthy Kevin Love. Adding a veteran star such as Love is going to completely change this team. Love has an elite inside-outside game that will alleviate pressure off of the rest of the roster.
Assuming that the Cavaliers can keep their core healthy, their offense will be surprisingly good. The team has multiple capable scorers and a good collection of shooting.
