3. Kevin Knox shoots 40 percent from deep

The former No. 9 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, Kevin Knox had somewhat of a quiet rookie season, having averaged 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists.

While this seems like a solid rookie campaign, there was a feeling around the league and by Knicks fans that there was a higher expectation for him. When you are drafted with as high of a pick that he was, early production at a high level is a necessity.

One thing Knox could certainly work on is his 3-point shooting. After shooting 34.3 percent from deep on 4.9 attempts per game last season, there should be optimism those numbers will only rise. Knox has a very pure-looking jump shot, meaning there should be no reason that he will not continue to improve his shooting percentages in his second NBA season. With an entire season of NBA action under his belt, he should come out more confident than ever as a sophomore.

With that said, our first bold prediction is that Kevin Knox will shoot at least 40 percent from beyond the arc. After a summer of workouts and the knowledge of knowing what it takes to succeed at the highest level, expect a jump in his 3-point shooting percentage.

On a team that shot 34.0 percent from 3-point range last season, Knox seeing a jump in his deep shooting will be key in the success of the entire team.
