Minnesota Timberwolves banking on better chemistry in 2019-20

With the 2019-20 season on the horizon, it’s time to take a look at what’s in store for a young and rising Minnesota Timberwolves squad.
Last season, the Minnesota Timberwolves fell out of the playoff picture, and landed in the 11th spot in the Western Conference.

A big reason for their struggles was their inability to establish a solid winning streak towards the beginning of the season, and chemistry problems caused by Jimmy Butler and Tom Thibodeau. After trading Butler and a midseason release of Thibodeau, it was clear that the whole organization was announcing that year as a bust.
However, this year is different. The chemistry problems which were causing concerns even before the 2018-19 season no longer exist and the Timberwolves organization are running a small webseries showcasing the culture that their new team has already established.
The Timberwolves are currently in a tough place, the middle of the road in a strong Western Conference, but there is still hope for the very near future. With that, it’s time to break down the different facets of this team, and preview the upcoming 2019-20 season.
It’s time to dig in, and see if we can’t find the gold that lies in a very promising team.
