2. PJ Washington has a sky-high ceiling

PJ Washington, the 12th overall pick out of the University of Kentucky, developed a sweet stroke on his shot in his sophomore year, hitting 42.3 percent of his 3-pointers and helping lead Kentucky to a No. 7 ranking and the Elite Eight.

He was also part of a stacked 2018 Kentucky team that sent five players to the NBA. The guy earned his chops and learned alongside some outstanding collegiate talent.

Will his game translate in the pros? Well, that will depend on whether he can compete for playing time, contribute on the floor, all the good stuff that comes from any rookie.

But in terms of talent and nose for the basket as a shooter, he looks like someone who could shoot the lights out and evolve into a great wing player.

But the ultimate silver lining to the 2019-20 Charlotte Hornets?
