Last year was, without a doubt, a rebuild year for the Dallas Mavericks. With a deeper roster in 2019-20, who can fans expect to break out ?

2018-19 left much to be desired for Dallas Mavericks fans despite having the Rookie of the Year Luka Doncic and acquiring the ever-promising Kristaps Porzingis.

There is no first-round draft pick to build excitement and fans will have to get used to seeing Dirk Nowitzki in a luxury box rather than on the bench.

On first look, there may not be too much to call home about when analyzing the Mavs.

When looking closer, Dallas is in prime position for an improvement on last year’s finish.

Too much was up in the air in 2018-19. Will Luka pan out? Is Dirk retiring? Was the Porzingis trade worth it? Who is our center? Where is the depth?
