10. Goran Dragic, Miami Heat

The second-oldest player on this list, there are multiple reasons why Goran Dragic could be bound for a significant bounce back in 2019-20. First and foremost, Dragic is entering a contract year, the final season of the five-year, $85 million deal he signed with the Heat in the summer of 2015.

At 33, not only is Dragic facing his final chance of landing a lucrative deal, he is also ultra-keen to prove a point following the most sub par season of his career. Due to a nagging knee injury that eventually required midseason surgery, Dragic was restricted to just 36 games, his lowest since his 2008-09 rookie season.

As a result, Dragic shot at anemic 41.3 percent from the field, also the lowest since his rookie year. Considering he was just one season removed from his first All-Star appearance and that he had shot an excellent 47.6 percent clip from the field over his previous six seasons in the league, this was some drop-off from Dragic.

Aside from overcoming a down season, Dragic will have to contend for minutes at the point with the emerging Justise Winslow. With Winslow assuming the floor general duties in his absence last season, Dragic is currently expected to revert to a sixth man role to commence the season.

Despite this, and with the likes of Dwyane Wade and Josh Richardson departing this offseason, there should still be ample minutes at both spots in the backcourt for Dragic to prove himself again. Ideally, Dragic should simply be able to view the impact Wade had coming off the bench for the final year of his illustrious career.

Considering his customary determined approach, and being just 18 months removed from earning an All-Star selection, a bounce-back is certainly on the cards for Dragic in season 2019-20.
