Minnesota Timberwolves: Bold predictions for Andrew Wiggins, team in 2019-20
By Ethan Becker
The 2019-20 season continues to inch closer and closer. With that, what are a few ‘hot takes’ on the success of the Minnesota Timberwolves?
The Minnesota Timberwolves debut game, Oct. 23 against the Brooklyn Nets, is just under a month away. The team is preparing for training camp right now, the front office is set, and the roster is becoming more and more clear with each day.

Because of that, there’s been more and more speculation about how well the Timberwolves will do this season. Even though the situation this year may seem fairly similar to last season, there are a few key differences. First off, the team is without the corrosive influence of Jimmy Butler.
Karl-Anthony Towns is the clear leader on the team, and he seems to have fit into that role fairly well. Next, the team is playing under a coach that they respect. Ryan Saunders seems to have the admiration of the locker room, something which couldn’t be said about the previous Head Coach Tom Thibodeau.
The team looks ready and excited to prove everybody wrong, but what would they need to do. What are the Timberwolves looking at if this entire season goes right, and then some?
