No. 1: Utah will reach the Western Conference Finals

The final bold prediction when it comes to the Utah Jazz as they head into the 2019-20 campaign is that they will return to the postseason once again this year and will advance as far as the Western Conference Finals.

Coming into the new year, the Jazz are looking to make it back to the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season after playing beyond the regular season schedule three years in a row.

During the 2018-19 campaign, Utah saw itself make an early exit in the postseason after getting bounced by the Houston Rockets in the opening round of the Western Conference Playoffs. Houston beat Utah 4-1 in the best-of-seven series.

While proving to be a solid second-half team throughout the course of the past two seasons, the Jazz have the ability to put together a strong finish to a regular season schedule and that could very well be the case once again this year.

Utah will likely be a top-five team in the Western Conference standings once again, and that could present the opportunity for it to advance beyond an early postseason exit as the Jazz have experienced for the last few playoff runs.

Utah could stretch its playoff run as far as the Western Conference Finals this year, even with the fact that the West is once again stacked as has been the case for the last few seasons.

Although the Western Conference Finals are a realistic goal for the Jazz this year, seeing them advancing beyond the Western Conference Finals and into the NBA Finals might be too much of an unrealistic dream with the bulk of the roster entering their first year together as a group.

Utah will take another step during the regular season and that might just carry over into the playoffs at the end of the year. The Jazz, however, might be just a few more pieces away from advancing beyond that and potentially representing the Western Conference in the NBA Finals sometime in the near future.
