Following a highly productive and exciting offseason, here are three bold predictions for the Miami Heat in season 2019-20.

With Miami Heat president Pat Riley in the business of winning championships, missing out on the postseason for the second time in three seasons last year was never going to sit easy.

As a consequence, the Heat used this offseason as a means of reshaping their roster to compete at a higher level, both this season and beyond. Of course, this overhaul primarily revolved around the blockbuster deal that delivered four-time All-Star Jimmy Butler.

As part of the transaction, the Heat were forced to part ways with Josh Richardson, Hassan Whiteside and a future first-round draft selection. In addition to Butler, the Heat also received frontcourt piece Meyers Leonard as part of the deal.

When you add in the retirement of franchise legend Dwyane Wade, it’s safe to say the Heat front office had their hands full this offseason.

With the defending champion Toronto Raptors losing superstar Kawhi Leonard, the Eastern Conference is certainly wide-open, with plenty of spots in the playoff race clearly up for grabs. Therefore, all eyes now immediately turn to the upcoming season, which shapes as being one of the more intriguing and open seasons in several years.

With training camp quickly approaching, here are three bold predictions for the Miami Heat in season 2019-20.
