2. Marvin Bagley III
Marvin Bagley is one of the faces of the franchise going forward for the Sacramento Kings. After being drafted No. 2 overall in the 2018 NBA Draft, Bagley made an immediate impact for the Kings as a rookie.
Bagley produced 14.9 points per game which was good for third on the entire team. He also grabbed 7.6 rebounds and blocked 1.0 shots per game, good for second and first on the team respectively. As a modern stretch 4, Bagley did struggle a bit from deep.
In 1.5 attempts from 3-point range per game, he only shot 31.3 percent. That is certainly something he will look to improve on going forward.
The 20-year-old future superstar was voted to the 2018-19 NBA All-Rookie First Team. Another star player out of Duke, Bagley and Giles will both be candidates to make a major jump in the 2019-20 season.
It appeared Bagley got more and more comfortable as the season went on. With a full year of NBA experience, Bagley will certainly be one of the better power forwards in the league next season.
If he is able to continue to be a rim protector and improve on his 3-point shot to stretch the floor, Marvin Bagley will be a top-10 power forward in the NBA in no time.
