3. Landry Shamet

High expectations can make people fold under the pressure or it can galvanize them to prove their naysayers and detractors wrong. Landry Shamet is in a unique position to see either one of these scenarios play out during next season. He’ll be dialed in and ready to show the Clippers organization how far he’s come in a short period.

Every team in the NBA would love having a player that’s capable of hitting five or more 3-pointers on any given night. Shamet can average close to this production for the LA Clippers regularly. Becoming a better ball handler and distributor will only increase the ways he can score on the offensive end.

Teammates Kawhi Leonard and Paul George do a great job of making defenses react to their movement on the court. Shamet can be a weak side force whenever strong side defensive assignments leave him wide open. With quality ball-handlers at both wing positions, I can see the same level of production coming from the point guard position as well.

When it’s all said and done, Shamet could have multiple NBA rings and at least one three-point shooting trophy in his possession.
