After losing the 2019 NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors had an excellent NBA Draft and will remain among the Western Conference elite. Here are three candidates for a breakout season during the 2019-20 season.

The Golden State Warriors had an injury-riddled finish to the NBA season after their Finals loss to the Toronto Raptors in June.

In the aftermath of their losses, they were able to have a successful NBA Draft this summer by selecting Eric Paschall, Jordan Poole and Alen Smailagic respectively.

Other off-season acquisitions include: Willie Cauley-Stein, Omari Spellman, Alec Burks, Andrew Harrison, Roy Devyn Marble and Glenn Robinson III.

With the 2019-20 NBA season around the corner, the Warriors need to find production outside of Stephen Curry, D’Angelo Russell, Klay Thompson (upon his return) and Draymond Green in order to have another successful season.

Luckily Steve Kerr has a lot of talent and versatility to work with, since almost all of the new additions can be utilized in two positions, which is drastically needed in Thompson’s absence.

Now since none of these players are of Thompson’s caliber on both ends of the floor, they will collectively produce sufficiently for the Warriors to remain a playoff team.

Here are three newcomers who are candidates to have a breakout season in 2019-20.
