2. Can the Bulls avoid another injury-plagued season?

The Bulls have been very unfortunate in terms of injuries over the past couple of seasons. In 2017-18, Zach Lavine played 24 games following an ACL injury that kept on the shelf for 11 months and Kris Dunn suited up just 52 times.

Although Lauri Markkanen missed only 14 games, this trio played a total of just 12 games together.

In 2018-19, it was even worse. Markkanen sat out a total of 30 games, including the first 23 outings of the season. Dunn appeared in just 46 contests, while both Wendell Carter Jr., and Chandler Hutchison missed 38 games apiece.

Let’s not forget that Denzel Valentine missed the entire season following surgery on his left ankle. When it was all said and done, Bulls players missed a total of 290 games — talk about bad luck.

Yes, injuries are a part of sports, but the Bulls have had more than their fair share of them over the last two seasons. Because of those injuries, it has been difficult to determine the ceiling for this ball club.

We’ve seen how they’ve performed with several players in out and of the rotation at various stretches, and it hasn’t been very good.

If this group can stay healthy though, maybe, just maybe, they will turn in a respectable season, which brings us to the last and most important question…
