Utah Jazz: 3 candidates for a breakout season in 2019-20
The Utah Jazz have a few young players on their roster and they all have the potential to become breakout players and surprise everyone this year.
At first glance of the Utah Jazz’s roster, they have experienced veterans and not many young players at the top of the depth chart.

Their younger players include names like Emmanuel Mudiay, Dante Exum, Royce O’Neale, Tony Bradley and then a collection of rookies or lesser-known players.
As is the case with every NBA team, the offseason is a clean slate for some players to revamp their game and breakout as a solid player in the next season. Some players, like Joel Embiid or De’Aaron Fox, are recent examples of players improving their game drastically after one summer.
However, opportunity is a huge factor in a player’s ability to improve. If one isn’t given enough playing time, then the chance won’t be there to make the next jump.
For most of the players on the Jazz, there will be a chance (or multiple) this season that will allow them to showcase their improvement. It is just up to those players to prove that they have taken that next step and to perform.
