1. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was a lottery pick last season and he played like it. Gilgeous-Alexander played all 82 games and started 73. He was really thrown to the wolves and managed to hold his own.

He averaged 10.8 points per game and had 1.2 steals per game. He showed the ability to play some defense also.

This season Gilgeous-Alexander will play behind Chris Paul and he will benefit from having somebody like Paul to look up to. He is the point guard for the future for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

He was able to shoot adequately from the field last season. He shot 47.6 percent from the field and 36.7 from 3.

Gilgeous-Alexander will be one of the prized possessions from the Paul George trade. He is one of the future great players in the league.

He will be asked to accomplish more this season for a Thunder team that is still trying to make it to the playoffs even though they lost their two MVP caliber players.
