3. Steven Adams
Steven Adams has gotten better year after year for the Oklahoma City Thunder. This season with the team missing its best players he has a chance to break out into a star.
Adams was the third option in the starting lineup last season and this year with Chris Paul’s ability to execute the pick-and-roll, he will be one of the first options in the offense.
Adams has been close to averaging a double-double in the past two seasons. In the 2017-18 season, he averaged 13.9 points and 9.0 rebounds. In the 2018-19 season, he averaged 13.9 points and 9.5 rebounds. He should look to have at least a 15-point, 10-rebound season.
With the addition of Chris Paul and how Adams has done so far in his career, he is set up to have a great season. The loss of Russell Westbrook and Paul George was great, but they still have Adams. He is one of the strongest and consistent big men in the game.
