We all know just how bad things were for the Dallas Mavericks last season, but let’s look on the bright side.
2018-19 was an interesting season for Dallas Mavericks fans, just not on the scoreboard.

The Mavericks were only better than the 19-63 Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference last year and missed the playoffs for the third straight season.
There were flashes of hope and reasons to rejoice, but all in all fans were left disappointed by the end of the year.
To make things worse, for the first time in 21 years Mavericks fans will not see Dirk Nowitzki on the floor.
The franchise legend took his farewell tour this past year and his absence will leave a hole in the organization from a team and fan point of view.
That being said, there was a full season of goodbyes for everyone to get prepared for this moment. Now it’s time to focus on the Dirk-less 2019-20 season.
Free agency has essentially come and gone and the Mavericks made no splash in the market. Name any reported free-agent target they were interested in and the Mavs missed out.
There is not much time for Dallas to make more moves, but we’re going to see what Mavericks fans can look forward to as the team stands now.
