The San Antonio Spurs will enter the season with the 10th most difficult schedule in the league. Here, we’ll look at which months will be the easiest, as well as the toughest.
The San Antonio Spurs have never been a team driven by emotion. But, given the storylines they’ve been a part of this summer, they figure to have tons to be amped up about when the season tips off against the New York Knicks on Oct. 23.

Within the 82-game schedule, there’s plenty to take away for the Spurs; the biggest of all being their eight-game Rodeo Road Trip, spanning through the All-Star break. They’ll also have a hefty challenge — a potentially critical five-game road trip at the tail end of March.
But, there’s also plenty of good: there are numerous stretches where they should expect wins, assuming they don’t play down to the competition.
The schedule gods also granted them a three-game homestand to kick off the 2019-20 season, a golden opportunity to get the year off on a good note.
A hot start to the season will be of extra importance; the Spurs don’t want to have too much suspense deep into a year in which they have the 10th strongest schedule among teams.
