3. Frank Ntilikina

As the former No. 8 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, Frank Ntilikina still has a lot to prove. Since entering the league, he has struggled to play up to his expectations.

Over the past two seasons, Ntilikina has posted nearly the exact same stats, not showing the improvement from year one to year two as expected.

In his short two-year NBA career, Ntilikina averages 5.9 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.2 rebounds per game. Although a quality wing defender, his shooting stroke has still not been perfected. In the 2018-19 seasons, Ntilikina shot a dismal 28.7 percent from deep.

With such a high draft pick being used on Ntilikina, Knicks fans are still hoping he can live up to the hype and be a true contributor in New York. If he doesn’t show drastic improvement early in the season, expect him to be a trade candidate going forward.
