With very interesting roster composition, the New York Knicks will have several players who will be under heavy pressure heading into next season.

The New York Knicks have a very interesting roster heading into the 2019-20 season. After striking out on top free agent targets such as Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, New York was still able to add several impressive pieces through both free agency and the draft.

In the 2019 NBA Draft, New York drafted RJ Barrett with the No. 3 overall pick as well as Ignas Brazdeikis in the second round with pick No. 47. Both of these players will be expected to contribute in their rookie seasons.

With plenty of money to spend in free agency, the Knicks signed several players to bolster their roster. They signed enough players to make their roster look completely different. In fact, the Knicks signed seven different free agents, including:

With over half of the roster being brand new, roles and expectations for many players will change drastically. While there will be an initial transition period at the start of the season while these new teammates mesh, New York should have the pieces to be a competitive team.
