Chicago Bulls (Nov. 3)

Thaddeus Young was a fan favorite when he wore the blue and gold as a member of the Indiana Pacers.

And speaking as a fan, he’s the guy that has me the most emotionally conflicted. He is such a genuinely good guy off the court that if he drops 30 in a Bulls upset, I’ll just tip my hat to him, take my L, and hope for a better result next time.

But realistically the Bulls are a dumpster fire of a team that won 22 games last season, has a bunch of guys who look better on paper than they ever seem to be on the actual basketball court — Zach LaVine, Otto Porter, Lauri Markkanen, looking at all three of you — and ought to be a cupcake of an opponent for this Pacers team.

Sure, last year produced a surprising number of cardiac games between these two teams, but that was last year.

The Pacers should win this one in a walk.
